The Sexton
Created by Alex Thomas, one of the few female master blenders in the industry, this Irish single malt whiskey is triple distilled and matured in Oloroso sherry casks sourced form Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. Bottled at 40% abv, The Sexton has a smooth, rich and approachable flavour for a thoroughly modern Irish whiskey.
Expect rich dried fruit, nuts and honeycomb, with hints of chocolate, raisin, and sherried notes.
The Distillers Editions
Classic Malts
Beginning with Diageo’s six Classic Malts of Scotland – Cragganmore, Dalwhinnie, Glenkinchie, Lagavulin, Oban and Talisker – The Distillers Editions of ‘double matured’ or ‘cask finished’ single malts were first introduced in the 1990s. These vintage expressions are finished in fortified wine casks for a period beyond the age of the standard expression using casks selected by the Master Distiller at each distillery.
